FAQ

Are the chess camps really free?

Yes, the camps are totally free! Our two co-founders donate their time and expertise for the chess school. We also rely on our partnership organizations, volunteers and individual/corporate sponsors to make these camps free of charge. In most of our camps, selective attendees may also receive free chess sets, chess books in addition to high quality chess teaching from an International Master as well as strong local Georgian chess players.

Can you tell me more about the free chess camp?

The free chess camps are intended for kids new to chess or kids at a beginner level. The camps are either one day or multi-day during weekends, school breaks during major holidays, as well as breaks for Winter, Spring, and Summer. The main purpose of the camps is to promote chess among young kids not only as a cool mind sport but also as a great educational tool to help fight social inequality and prejudice.
